Malpa 3PL began with a simple favour. A friend traveling around the Australian Outback needed someone to send orders out for his wifes clothing brand. Tim said yes. A handful of other brands heard about, asked for the same things, and before you knew it, the foundations for a 3PL came into being.

Tim runs the operations side of this happy accident. He’s the reason our warehouse moves the way it does from stock landing, being received accurately, picked, packed to being shipped out the door on time. He’s built a team of people who are trusted with real responsibility and where the standard is set by the team, not a manual. His view is simple: if each person is mindful of the next step in the process, the work looks after itself, and the client on the other end never has to wonder.

Jordan was that friend who needed a favour. What started as an interim solution to order fulfilment whilst travelling turned into a business built around a question he’d already lived: who can eCommerce founders lean on for support when pushing for growth?

Jordan champions our business development, finance, systems, and the technology underneath it all. His purpose: Making the operation faster and more cost effective than it was last quarter. But the heart behind Malpa governs his moves. Running an online eCom brand can be isolating, and Malpa exists so that it isn’t. Malpa is a Pitjantjatjara word Jordan picked up when traveling around central Aus which means, to come alongside and journey with.

For Jordan, that means each one of our partners is known (beyond just their brand), they have someone who is there to answer the phone, and stays with them from the moment stock arrives to the moment it’s in the customers hands.

Lachlan leads the customer service function and the way Malpa shows up to the world. He’s the link between our partners and the warehouse team, ensuring questions are answered the first time and that nothing gets lost between onboarding and up and running.

He owns our customer service standards and spends the vast majority of his time with our brands founders, learning how best to serve them and meet their needs.

Barry is more often than not the first person you’ll talk to at Malpa. He helps founders discover if Malpa is the best place for your brand.

Barry would rather have an honest conversation about fit and future goals than start a partnership that doesn’t quite work. Afterall, we strive for excellence in all that we do.

Iuri looks after the integrity of your goods the second they arrive at our front door. Cycle counting, inventory accuracy and the processes that keep it all square by leading our inbound team and owning the standards that govern it.

When you ask what we have and where it is, Iuri is the reason we can answer that question with full confidence.

Zaynne builds the tools that make everyone else faster. The internal Software, workflow automations, dashboards and technical problem-solving behind the scenes is all his work. It’s the quiet infrastructure that lets our team focus on clients instead of admin.

If a process is slower than it should be, he’s already looking at it with a solution in the pipeline. Afterall, Malpa strives to be proactive rather than reactive, and Zaynne helps make that all possible.

Dai leads the team that keeps orders flowing cleanly and catches the exceptions before the become a bad google review on your website. Order troubleshooting, DIFOT monitoring, system configurations and client onboarding is overseen by Dai and his team.

He is the steady hand overseeing your first couple weeks with us, and behind the daily details long after that.

Jesse runs the heart of our operation, our warehouse floor. Labour allocation, pick and pack performance, rostering and the coaching that lifts the whole team.

The packaging and accuracy standards set by you and expected by your customers are upheld by Jesse and his team. Every order that leaves the building has passed through the rhythms he sets.
